The heat is overwhelming. It’s a pretty normal thing this time of year in Texas, but I still like to complain about it. That’s part of being a Texan, right? We can bitch about our respective issues, while people who live in the north can whine when the thermometer slides past 80.
I find it interesting that I could probably cook my breakfast on the west Texas dirt, yet if I road trip over to New Mexico, I’d need a sleeping bag to avoid freezing my ass off at night. In Texas, I’d wake up in a pool of sweat.
